Mission

At Christ Community, everything we do flows from the idea that we are on a mission. This mission calls us to reach out to those who do not know Jesus Christ and to develop those who do.

Offering biblical and culturally relevant teaching, music, and experiences, Christ Community’s mission is to worship God by:

• Illuminating our culture as light and influencing it as salt.
• Engaging in serving others.
• Fostering ministry involvement.
• Developing leadership.
• Discipling each other.

Each person is a vital part of God’s work. All Christ-followers are ministers. God has given each of us gifts that are to be used to build up each other. In this sense, we believe in doing church as a team and in sharing leadership.

We have been called to represent God in a genuine fashion in an area in which many have been hurt through church experiences. We strive to be a healing community for those hurting.
